On behalf of Otengoro Olang Okwer wang clan and on my own behalf as clan chief I would like to welcome you all our stakeholders to this vibrant clan website. Otengoro olang okwer wang clan is one of the established and recognized clans under the lango cultural foundation (LCF). The clan is well established in lango constituting of up to 15 saza chiefs spread across all the districts in Lango and Buganda namely; Lira, Kole, Oyam, Amolatar, Dokolo, Otuke, Kwania and Nakasongola. The current Clan Chief is the second in succession following the death of the former clan head, Mzee George William Opio Oling that occurred in June 2016. Having been elected overwhelmingly by the clan members, Mr Anganya Alex commands a lot of respect, following and trust among his subjects. He is a distinguished professional accountant and administrator, his leadership skills spans for 2 decades where he has worked in both Private and government MDAs. He is a government trusted servant whose work life balance transcends the borders of Uganda and above all, God fearing leader whom the clan has invested in a lot of hope in steering the clan to greater heights. His major vision which is in line with the constitution of the clan is among others;

I express my sincere gratitude for the unwavering support the clan has received from key stakeholders; Plan International, Lango cultural foundation, government ministry (MoGLSD), Government Agency (URSB), regional and international institutions. I also thank all the members of the clan for their hard work and loyalty to the cause of their clan and leadership. Let us continue to unite, protect our cultural heritage and work together to deliver ourselves out of poverty and dependency syndrome. God bless us all, For God and My Country.
